Personal Style: New Mint Shoes!
As soon as I purchased the mint green shoes that I posted about on Sunday, I knew that I had to put together an outfit that showcased them immediately!
My first no-brainer approach was to mix mint green with black and white, as I did recently in THIS outfit. This skirt was the other piece that I bought from Francesca's, the new store in the Boulevard Mall. I love the bold black and white graphic pattern and the pleats lay in just the right way.
And can I just talk about how excited I was to find a mint shoe with a lower heel? Listen, I love me a tall stiletto, but being 5'7, sometimes I don't feel like towering over my friends and family. This small heel gives me just the right amount of height without it being too overwhelming.
I paired this skirt with a collared button down shirt, which makes this an office appropriate look. Thank goodness my office and their business-casual dress code doesn't mind me dressing in mint green heels and animal print tops!
Have you guys ever heard of Groopdealz? Why have I not heard of this website sooner? Basically, they sell on-trend clothing and accessories for an extremely discounted price, but each piece is only available for a limited amount of time. Both my necklace and bracelet came from Groopdealz. They are great quality and were SO inexpensive. I think the necklace was less than $10 and the bracelet was around $5. And you know that JCrew sold the real version of the popular bubble necklace for over $100...yikes! I love me a fantastic deal!
