My Everyday Makeup Routine

Makeup 6 Being a makeup artist, I've often experimented on my day-to-day makeup routine. One day I'd go neutral, next I would be wild and crazy. But now that I have a full-time job and like to get my fitness on at 5:30am before work, I've had to time my full face makeup from 30 minutes plus down to 15 minutes at the most.

I figured I'd show you guys my step-by-step makeup routine so you can see that looking put together doesn't have to take a long time! Also I will highlight the beauty products that are near and dear to my heart.

First let's start off with my bare face with just moisturizer...yikes, can't believe I'm putting this on the internet:

After moisturizer, I prime my face with Tarte BB Tinted Treatment Cream and use my all time favorite Makeup Forever HD Foundation...seriously, this stuff is magical. I then top my foundation with Makeup Forever HD Invisible Powder.

Next, I use my trusty Urban Decay Naked2 palette, the colors are totally gorgeous and great for super neutral or smoky eye looks. I always do a sassy cat eyeliner with the greatest gel eyeliner out there, MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack. I always use gel eyeliner, I feel that it's a lot easier to handle than liquid liner in a tube, plus it stays put all day. I use an angled brush to get a straight, sharp line. My favorite mascara is Maybelline The Colossal Volum' Express...always waterproof! I feel that it holds my eyelash curl better.

Now, let me just tell you how IMPORTANT eyebrows are. Have you ever seen those pictures online where people Photoshop out eyebrows on celebrity photos? Yeah, it makes a huge difference. Look at my picture before eyebrows above? And with eyebrows below! My favorite product for eyebrows is Benefit Brow Zings...it includes the brow powder, plus a colored wax to hold your eyebrows in place.

And lastly I use my favorite bronzer to contour my cheekbones and my forehead, NARS Laguna is the perfect color for me. Sometimes I use MAC Blush in Pinch O' Peach on the apples of my cheeks. I then finish it off with a little bit of highlighter; I'm now using my new favorite product mark. Touch & Glow Shimmer Cream Cubes.
