Personal Style: Retro Red

polka dot red 4 The combination of the polka dot blouse with the red pants just seems so girly and retro, doesn't it?

I wore this outfit on Monday night to see Anthony Bourdain with Nicholas. The show was incredible and just made my love for Bourdain even stronger, if that was even possible!

The weather was actually really nice outside, so instead of wearing a normal jacket, I just threw on my trusty denim jacket since I knew it might be chilly when we got out of the show.

Ladies, here's my little tip for when you go to a concert/play/event/etc. Don't carry a gigantic purse unless it's completely necessary. In a lot of old theatres, the seats are very close together and you don't have a lot of room to spread out, so this small clutch was all that I needed. If you are like me and carry a huge purse every day, you don't want to be lugging that around with you and squishing it under your seat during the show. Just throw your essentials in your clutch and you are good to go!

This is probably my favorite top that I've worn with these red pants so far, but I can't wait to try more combinations. Who knew that a bright pair of red pants could be so versatile?
