Black and White
According to Glamour magazine, black and white looks are huge this spring. And thank goodness because I would say about 80% of my wardrobe consists of black and/or white pieces. I worked in retail for almost 10 years and I'm not kidding when I say if a new top came out that I loved and we offered it in 8 different colors, the first ones I purchased were black and white. I would sometimes pick up a gray one, but let's not get too crazy here now! Basic pieces in classic colors are everything. You can add pops of color with your shoes, jewelry, and handbags. It's a fashion no-brainer!
Luckily for me, Target, my favorite store in the whole entire world (tied with Anthropologie), is hitting the nail on the head this year with black and white for spring. Seriously, how amazing is Target? They offer on-trend fashion for extremely fair prices, and have been doing so many collaborations with famous designers, like the current Prabal Gurung for Target line.
I tried a few pieces on at the store, but two black and white tops came down from the heavens and sung my name.
This one I immediately bought after I tried it on last week. Black. White. Stripes. Peplum. 4 of my all time favorite things in one top. How can it be true?!
So adorable. I can't wait to pair this with black skinny jeans and heels. Unfortunately I can't seem to find it on the Target website anymore, but check your local store!
This next top I tried on today. Funny how it matches my headband that I was wearing. I love the polka dots! So cute and girly.

I'm also kind of obsessed with clutches. So perfect when you don't want to carry a giant handbag when you are on a date or going out with your girlfriends for a night on the town. I love the solid black with the snakeskin texture to make it more interesting!
